We took this Davie tenant space down to the shell and rebuilt it for a single purpose: movement. Polished concrete floors, hand-applied lime-wash walls, an expanded bathroom, and ceiling-mounted radiant heaters engineered for hot Pilates sessions. A former insurance office, delivered as a purpose-built commercial studio — every detail built to spec.
The project began with a full demolition of an 802-square-foot insurance office. We stripped the tenant space back to its structural shell — removing existing partitions, finishes, and ceilings — to open a clean, flexible floor plate ready for a ground-up interior buildout dedicated to movement.
The defining feature is the studio itself: a warm, monolithic movement room finished in hand-applied lime-wash plaster and wrapped by a sculpted, wave-form LED cove that runs the length of the wall. Arched full-height mirrors, polished concrete floors, and a bank of ceiling-mounted radiant space heaters turn the room into a controlled environment purpose-built for heated Pilates.
Behind the finishes, our team handled new metal framing, an expanded restroom, fresh ductwork, and the electrical infrastructure for the radiant heater array, ceiling fans, and track lighting. Permitted through the Town of Davie and approved on 4-22, the buildout cleared its final building inspection on 7-1-26 — a 70-day turnaround from permit to sign-off.
